Tripura – formerly known as Tippera, the state that is located in the extreme south-west corner of the North-eastern part of the country. We can see that the early history of the kingdom of Tripura is synonymous with numerous mythological stories; the actual history of the state goes back to over 2,500 years. All the parts offers a different experience; the first one is at the entrance and has a three acres of land after which you can enter to the rest of the parts, wherein one carries a natural forest and the other is filled with medicinal plants.
The case is similar with that of ‘Rabindra Kanan park’, ‘Ujjayanta Palace’, ‘Neheru Park’ and to name a few others; all these offers exquisite view of the raw beauty of nature there. And when you take into account the religiously important places in Agarthala, one can see many Buddhist temples been built there with Buddha Temple, Benuban Vihar in Agartala been the most important and attractive b Buddhist destinations of Tripura. Like that, we have quite a lot of ‘Buddha temple’ in and around Agarthala, which are quite famous for their ancient Buddhist monastery. Well, the ‘Durgabari Tea Garden’ on the other hand gives you a fantastic view of the tea plantations and is a major tourist spot as well. Generally fertile, the land is out from any major problems of toxicities or deficiencies. Well, ‘Gumti wildlife sanctuary’, ‘Bhubaneswari Temple’, ‘Unabati Group of Temples’, ‘Kamala Sagar Lake’. ‘Dumboor Lake’ and ‘Benuban Vihar’ are some other interesting options available down up there in Agarthala.
