The city of Mumbai is the financial capital as well as the capital of entertainments in India. Mumbai can show you a miniature of India. That is the kind of vibrancy that this city holds within it. You can see people from virtually all the parts of the country roaming here and there in this city. Hailed as the City of Dreams, Mumbai is encompassed with seven islands and has a lot of places to venture inside it.

As the city is an island, we can start with the beautiful beaches in the city. While ‘Juhu’ can be the ultimate beach, where you can roam around without any restrictions, another attraction that the beach offers you is the close view of the planes landing in the Chhatrapati International airport situated in the backside of the beach. The beach lies in the suburbs of the city and is situated at a distance of 18 km from the Mumbai city. On the other hand, ‘Chowpatti Beach’ can also be an ideal option for weekends. The beach is located on the north of the famous Marine Drive, which is stretch of 3 km from Nariman Point to the end of Malabar hills. Popularly known as the Queen’s Necklace. it is in the shape of an inverted ‘C’.

The city of Mumbai is an amazingly carved out place with a lot of skyscrapers inside it. Well, not to be mistaken this as a place that has forgotten the ancient culture of the country. The city still has quite some exciting places inside it that tells the story of the past. One such is the ‘Flora Fountain’. It is truly an architectural masterpiece and is situated on the Dadabhai Naoroji road at South Mumbai. The same can be applied to Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, Radha Ras Bihari Temple, Babulnath Temple, Haji Al Dargah, Jain Temple, Mount Mary Church and quite a lot. See, the city as we mentioned earlier, tolerates a multitude of beliefs and religions inside it without any major conflicts. Most of the above mentioned religious places has a long story behind them to tell and have amazing architectural shapes as well.

While taking the monument list that this city holds, the first name that appears to one’s mind is arguably ‘The Gateway of India’. It has a lot of stories to tell from the past and is situated at the Southern part of Mumbai. Apart from this beautifully engraved design, the city of Mumbai has many other notable monuments inside it in the form of ‘Elephants Cave’, ‘Kanheri Caves’, ‘Rajabai Clock Tower’, ‘Worli Fort’ and how can you miss the ‘Film City’....! Attached to this very name of Bollywood that the dreams of the whole nation lays.

The amusement parks too attracts large number of people to the city, such as ‘Essel World’, ‘Fantasy Land’, ‘Suraj Water Park’ etc. On the other hand, ‘Water Kingdom’ is another renowned place and is Asia’s largest water park indeed. Do not miss to visit this place.
