There are one fort in ‘Moti Daman’ and ‘Nani Daman’. While taking a journey to the Moti Daman Fort, one can surely enjoy the rich carry overs from the past colonial rule. This historically important fort is a major tourist attraction in Moti Daman and the main constituent of the great tourist inflow to the fort is the ‘Pagola garden’, which is situated inside the fort. The beautiful garden that comes with a rock monument in the center is a treat to the eyes. Well, one can see that the entire fort area has been built with a great deal of planning and those side cafes and mini gardens out there are simply marvelous. The other fort, ‘Moti Daman Fort’ too offers a similar view, though is small in size. Built with high stone walls, this fort boasts three bastions and two gateways. However, the biggest attraction inside the fort is the imposing church of ‘Our Lady of The Sea’. The church was built by the Portuguese and comes with a magnificent rosewood carving.
