Dehradun is nestled between The Ganges and Yamuna in East and West. A picturesque landscape, Dehradun is one of the oldest cities of India. Also known as Guchhupani among the locals, the Robber's Cave is a river cave formation in the city of Dehradun. Well, the ‘Sahastradhara’ is such a lovely waterfall, with a depth of over 9 meters. The place is also popular for the therapeutic values as well and the water herein is believed to have the presence of Sulphur. Sahastradhara is also easily reachable as well and it offers you a great climate and tourists consider this stunning spot as their dream destination. The Santa Devi temple is another such as important temple in Dehradun. Well, the ‘Ram Rai Gurudwara’ too deserves a special place among the list of notable places in Dehradun and it boasts quite a lot of legendary believes around it as well.
You are also not expected to miss any chance to visit the mini zoological park situated at the base of the majestic Shivalik Range. This ‘Malsi Deer Park’ is considered as one of the most interesting tourist places in Dehradun. You can also spot a children’s park therein the zoological park. Apart from providing great fun for the children, the place offers such a nice experience, especially since the park is bounded by verdant greenery.
