A popular hill station in South India, Munnar is situated in Idukki district in Kerala. Mattupetty’s own ‘Indo Swiss Farm’, by far is the foremost productive project that produces over hundred high quality cattle. The specialized dairy farms here, is believed to have some over 100 varieties of high yielding cattle.

Rajamala is another beautiful place that should be explored, while you visit Munnar. A natural habitat of Nilgir Tahr, the place is home to numerous rare species of wild animals that can’t be traced easily elsewhere. A part of Eravikulam wildlife sanctuary, however, you can explore only the tourism area of Rajamala region. Well as we mentioned about ‘Eravikulam National Park’ earlier, we have to count this place amongst the places that boasts a rich flora and fauna. Anamudi, which is at a height that peaks close to 2700 meters above from the sea level, has ensured the tag of being the highest peak in the Western Ghats. The artificial reservoir, ‘Kundala Lake’ is at a distance just over 20 km from Munnar. Most of the tourists, who visits there used to go for Shikara Boat Ride. Taking a short drive from Munnar will land you in ‘Echo Point’ and is also an interesting tourist place. The KDHP’s ‘Nullatanni Estate’ is home to the first tea museum of the kind in India. It has been traditionally one of the most favorite tourist destinations in Munnar. ‘Attukad Waterfalls’ is something that can be seen reigning in fully glory after the monsoon period. Blossom Park, Chnnar Wildlife Sanctuary, Marayoor Sandalwood forests, Lakkom waterfalls are some other places that you should explore while you take a visit to Munnar.
